About Us

Our church has a long history - but it's a modern and diverse place to find friends and draw closer to God. You would be welcome to join us for any of our services or activities. Feel free to join us any time for worship, or call in during office hours to have a look round. You can also email our office administrator or Minister if you'd like to.

We are proud of our Methodist traditions here - joyful praise of God, a commitment to justice seeking, and trying to do all we can to improve the world we're part of, are important values many of us hold dear. We are an inclusive church where people from many different backgrounds and parts of the world meet to share in worship and fellowship. 

St Peter's holds services twice a week, and there are also times when you can pop in for quiet prayer or reflection. There is a community cafe on Saturday mornings, and many other activities which you are welcome to join in with - or set up your own! We also stream our main services via Youtube for those who can't attend in person.

Our church is a place to celebrate baptisms, weddings and funerals - more information on this can be found here. We also provide same-sex wedding ceremonies and are fully inclusive of all LGBTQ+ backgrounds.
