Junior Church

We have a thriving Junior Church that meets on Sunday mornings during worship. We welcome children that are school age who are attending the morning service with their parents or care-givers.  

Junior Church meets in the hall and helps prepare the room for refreshments following the service where parents and carers can meet the children and young people and hear about what they have been doing. 

Our children join the rest of the worshipping congregation for some of the time, before their own variety of activities, helping them to explore Christianity in ways appropriate to their age group. Most Sundays this means that they are in the service at the beginning of the service however on Sundays when there is Holy Communion the Junior Church joins the rest of the congregation later in the service to be part of this.   

Our Junior Church takes an active part in leading worship by producing artwork, reading in church and writing prayers at planned services throughout the year.
